Pathogen : 

The term pathogen is usually restricted to living agents, which include viruses, rickettsia, bacteria, fungi, yeasts, protozoa, helminths and certain insect larval stages , that are capable of causing disease.


Parasite :

The term parasite came from the Greek word "parasitos" meaning "eating at the side of or at the same table"
