Henry Louis Le Chatelier ( 8 Oct 1850 - 17 Sep 1936 )


 A French/Italian chemist who is known for the Le Chatelier or Le Chatelier Braun Principle. This principle is used to predict the effect of change in conditions like pressure, temperature and concentration on chemical equilibrium.

  I September 1870 he completed education in engineering. Apart from engineering, he had interests in industrial problems. Then he left his career in industry. Le Chatelier carried out extensive research on matallurgy.
