SIR J.J. THOMSON ( 18 Dec 1865 - 30 Aug 1940 )

 He was an English physicist and a Nobel laureate. To his credit, he had discovery of electron and isotopes and invention of mass spectometer. He was awarded Nobel Prize in the year 1906 for the discovery of electron and his work on conduction of electricity through gases.
