NEILS BOHR ( 7 Oct 1885 - 18 Nov 1962 )

 He was a Danish physicist. His research made fundamental contributions in understanding atomic structure and quantum mechanics. He was awarded Nobel Prize in physics in the year 1922. Neils Bohr first worked under Sir J.J. Thomson, then under Rutherford. Bohr's work identified the isotope of uranium 235U that was responsible for show neutron fission. He was also involved in Manhatten project.
