Arne Wilhelm Kaurin Tiselius ( 1902 - 1971 )

 The first important experiments on electrophoresis was carried out by the Swedish physical chemist Arne Wilhelm Kaurin Tiselius. He made electrophoresis a very powerful technique for studying mixtures of protein in 1930s. He received Nobel Prize in chemistry for his work on electrophoresis.
